In Honor of World Earth Day, Yuantai Derun Steel Pipe Group Launches 5 Major Initiatives
On April 22nd every year, the world celebrates the United Nations designated "World Earth Day" in 2009. In the 1970s, a grassroots environmental initiative on American university campuses developed into a global movement aimed at raising awareness of the necessity of protecting the Earth and its resources.
On this special day, Tianjin Yuantai Derun Steel Pipe Manufacturing Group wants to propose some environmental protection actions to help us better understand how to care for the Earth.
Action 1 Signature Bottle:
China is the country with the largest population in the world, but it is one of the countries with the least per capita water resources. If every person in the world had a bottle of water, then every Chinese person would only have 1/4 of that bottle. Unfortunately, even this small portion is often wasted because people forget which bottle is theirs during group activities. Cheil Jier noticed that after every group activity in China, a large amount of bottled water would be wasted. To address this issue, we encourage people to write their names on bottles and carry them with them to ensure that they do not waste resources.
Operation 2 Lost Forest Land
Every minute in the world, a large area of forest is cut down, and those lands that have lost their forests will eventually become deserts. It is said that in Brazil, every 4 minutes, a forest the size of a football field is cut down. People around the world sometimes do not realize how urgent environmental issues are. Forests are the lungs of the earth, please cherish our precious forest resources. Once again, the Yuantai people have issued an initiative to stop logging and protect forests. At the same time, steel is also a good green building material that can be recycled. Please let go of those forests.
Operation 3 Fragile Friend:
Since 1850, 130 species of birds and mammals have become extinct, and currently 656 species of animals are on the brink of extinction. Statistical data shows that one species disappears on Earth every hour. Animals are very fragile and must be protected. We urge parents and children to avoid consuming wild animals or purchasing products made from wild animals, such as fur coats.
Action 4, Unlimited Potential for Recycling:
No matter where you live in the world, recycling is an endless source of potential. If billions of people could stop throwing away cardboard boxes, metal products, and plastic products and instead recycle them, it would be a wonderful thing. We encourage everyone to participate in recycling work, helping our skies become bluer and our water cleaner.
