Asian infrastructure investment bank (aiib) is an intergovernmental multilateral development institution in Asia. It focuses on supporting infrastructure construction. Its purpose is to promote the process of connectivity and economic integration in the Asian region, and strengthen the cooperation between China and other Asian countries and regions. It is the first multilateral financial institution initiated by China, headquartered in Beijing, [1] with a legal capital of US $100 billion. As of July 2020, the aiib has 103 member states
